Back in 1995 the team at Compac Home identified a need in the market for high quality, stylish and contemporary furniture that didn’t come with a designer price tag. Platform 10 was the natural result.
Founded by brothers Mervyn and Ken Simpkin, our parent company is now a third generation Northland based business.
Operating with the same original spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, Compac Home employs 70 staff, utilises 7,500m² of factory floor space, and supplies a whole range of industries.
The combination of design capabilities, systems, plant and administration – has enabled Platform 10 to develop a reputation as one of New Zealand’s leading bedroom and lifestyle furniture manufacturers.
